Only three days after winning the Asian Championships, Carlos Yulo will return to the mat to continue to hone his skills and come up with a plot for the biggest gathering in rhythmic gymnastics this year.
Yulo has just achieved a triple gold medal at the ninth Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Doha, Qatar, with the 4-foot-11 Philippine dynamo confirming its elite status on the continent.
“I am grateful for this gift from God and I also thank all the people who helped me become what I am and those who supported me. This is for the country, “said Yulo, who arrived late Sunday night and returned to his family in Manila.
Yulo managed the exercise on the ground floor, jumping and parallel bars.
“These medals motivated me to do better. “I will force myself to train harder and prepare for my next tournament,” said Yulo.
The next meeting for which Hulot will prepare is the 2022 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships at the Liverpool Arena in Liverpool, UK, in October. from 26 to November. 6.
