Xiaomi Band 7 is already coming out worldwide; India is expected to launch soon

Xiaomi has launched the Smart 7 fitness gym worldwide. The successor to the Mi Band 6, the Band 7 was previously only for China, but is now available in select markets in Europe and has a chance to arrive in India soon. IN Band 6 received a price reduction recently on the Indian marketpaving the way – potentially – for the next generation version, although we have yet to receive official confirmation from Xiaomi.


Xiaomi Band 7 was released in Europe at a price of 59.99 euros, which is approximately equal to 4700 rupees. However, Xiaomi will sell it at a starting price of 49.99 euros or approximately 4,100 rupees initially. Note that only the non-NFC version of Band 7 launches worldwide. In China, you can also get it with NFC. Band 7 starts at 239 CNY (approximately 3000 Rs) in China.


Speaking of specifications, Xiaomi Band 7 has a 1.62-inch color OLED display with a resolution of 490 × 192 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. This version also allows you to finally keep the display always on.

Band 7 can monitor your heart rate and sleep quality index in addition to recognizing your swimming beats – it is 5ATM certified. It can monitor the level of oxygen in your blood and automatically inform you when the level drops below 90 percent. It also supports 120 workout modes and automatic workout detection. Meanwhile, the result of personal activity can give you an idea of ​​your workouts. You can also compete with friends based on these results.

Xiaomi Band 7 boasts up to 14 days of battery life. It charges via a magnetic docking station, so you don’t need to remove the strap to charge the device.
