Wendy Williams: What the hell is she going to do now?!?

Wendy Williams has not been on television for months.

But that was officially announced last Friday:

Wendy Williams’ show no longer exists, airing in the last episode on June 17 in a rather unusual way.

Without the presenter herself even appearing in the final.

According to a number of reports, Williams has been battling mental and physical health problems for more than a year.

Due to problems with Graves’ disease, the premiere of what became the last season of the talk show host was postponed and then a little more … and then finally aired without Wendy in her iconic purple chair. .

Various hosts were chosen to take over Williams, although much of the responsibility fell to Sherry Shepard.

Shepherd will lead the program that he will now replace the Wendy Williams Show.

Where does this leave Williams, who said very little among serious speculation about her health?

Now we can have an answer.

In a teaser video from late last week, host Extra Billy Bush was seen talking on the phone with Williams … and told audiences that she was “heading into the world of iTunes podcasts.”

We cannot confirm this information and no one associated with Apple has confirmed the story.

But it would make sense for Williams to move in that direction, don’t you think?

In the final on June 17, Shepard did his best to pay tribute to Williams.

“On behalf of all the guest hosts, I would like to say a big thank you to all of Wendy’s loyal observers for making this show a success.

“And most of all, we have you to thank, Wendy Williams,” she said in the episode, winning a standing ovation.

Shepard also replaced Williams as the queen of all media.

Added Shepherd:

“Come to think of it, Wendy Williams changed the day’s conversations with her unique look at Hot Topics, her one-of-a-kind celebrity interviews, the Ask Wendy Asks segments and, of course, her famous ‘How Do You Do It?’

“And I mean, Miss Wendy, you are an icon and you are loved so much. So much. “

Wendy Williams cries loudly

Williams said nothing about the official cancellation of his long-running show, although he has sworn in the past that she will be back on TV someday.

“This is a bitter moment for us and our Fox partners,” the production company said behind the talk show in February, after confirming that Shepard would replace Williams in the future.

“We all have a great love and affinity for Wendy, who has become a true icon during her 12 amazing seasons as a solo presenter on daily live talk shows, broadcasting hot topics and interviewing celebrities.

“As Wendy is not yet available to host the show as she continues on her path to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making this transition now.

“We hope to be able to work with Wendy again in the future and continue to wish her a speedy and full recovery.”
