Virtually with PowerA’s new pastel color controllers for Xbox and PC

When it comes to color design controllers, the Xbox game has been around for years. Since the generation of the Xbox One, Microsoft has released many fun variations of its controllers – including limited editions and on Xbox Design Lab – and this momentum did not slow down with the Xbox Series X / S consoles. Meanwhile, the range of Xbox controllers from third parties is more extensive than everand brands like PowerA reach bargain prices with their own elegant new colors, such as the recently launched one pastel range from $ 37.99 PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox and PC.

Marshmallow vibrations for days. The controllers have smooth satin finishes on the front, slightly textured backs and shiny accents on the shoulders and bumpers.

Announced in March As a spring collection, these new pastel colors for the Enhanced Wired line include purple camouflage, lavender whirlwind, pink lemonade, pastel dreamand cotton candy blue. At first, the pink lemonade seemed like an undisputed winner with its elegant yellow-pink gradient, but now that I’ve seen and dealt with all five colors in person, I can officially declare blue cotton candy the best looking. In fact, it’s a little bluish-green on the sea foam than its name suggests, but nonetheless, it’s a bold yet soft monochrome hue on this controller.

But all five pastel designs look great overall, with a variety of gradients, patterned patterns and / or two-tone contrasts on the front and back that give each one a unique signature. Of course, it’s unfortunate that these controllers are still burdened with outdated Micro USB connections, but I’ll pay some tribute to PowerA for at least choosing a white detachable cable with each one to better complement the light and airy look.

I would still like to see a whole new version of the Enhanced Wired Controller, which is finally upgrading to USB-C and maybe even squeezing a few more rear adaptive buttons without cluttering things up too much. But leaving the complaints aside, there is something to love about the aesthetics of these bright new colors. The improved cable controller is our best choice the best budget Xbox controller you can buy, thanks in large part to its very fair price while nailing the essentials to a cable controller. I can’t say that these new colors go so far as to make something better, because they are functionally the same, but refreshing enough to feel somehow improved.

The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller is a budget cable controller for Xbox and PC that connects via Micro USB and has two adaptive buttons on the back. Available in many different colors and licensed designs.

These great new pastels are now readily available at many retailers, and it won’t be a surprise if they start seeing their own discounts and sales, like many others in the PowerA range. They are a small breath of fresh air from a budget level and are a nice addition to the summer games, which has new local games for many players like Ninja Turtles: Schroeder’s Revenge (Good reason to need additional controllers at an affordable price, as it supports up to six players on Xbox and PC).
