Todd and Julie Chrisley break the silence after convictions for fraud

In conversation in the latest episode of their podcast “Chrisley Confessions”, the reality stars were hesitant to discuss their case.

Todd Chrisley said it was a whirlwind.

“I know all of you guys want to know every detail of what’s going on in our lives, and I have to ask you to respect that we’re not allowed to talk about it right now,” Todd Chrisley said. “There will come a time when all this will be discussed.”

“We wanted to come today and let everyone know that this is a very sad, heartbreaking moment for our family,” he added. “But we still hold fast to our faith and believe that God will do what He does best, because God is a miracle worker and that is what we hold dear.”

“We are alive and well and we appreciate all the support we have received from everyone,” said Julie Chrisley.

The stars of “Chrisley Knows Best” and their accountant Peter Tarantino were also convicted of several tax crimes, and Julie Chrisley was found guilty of obstructing justice and wire fraud.

Todd Chrisley said they received gifts and messages from fans and even made people leave food and drive for hours to bring flowers to their front door.

“The love that has spread so far in this country is what really helps us get up every day,” he said.
