Kim Kardashian responded to allegations that she ruined Marilyn Monroe’s dress

Earlier this month, accusations were circulating on the Internet concerning Kim Kardashian and on Marilyn Monroe a dress she wore to this year’s Met Gala. Online gossip claims that she ruined the dress and that the crystals are hanging from the dress. In a recent conversation with Today, she finally responded.

On Tuesday, Kim addressed the allegations, saying they were not true. As she went into detail, she explained the process of putting on the dress.

It was such a process. I appeared on the red carpet with my robe and slippers, put on my dress at the bottom of the carpet, and climbed the stairs. I probably wore it for three minutes, four minutes, and then I changed right at the top of the stairs.

Answering the question about the damage to the dress, she answered and said:

No, and Ripley, we worked so well together. There were guides in gloves who put it on me.

SoonRipley defended Kim and said she didn’t ruin the dress, TMZ reports. The museum bought the dress in 2016 for $ 4.8 million and said:

A report written on the condition of the dress in early 2017 states that a number of seams have been pulled and worn. This is not surprising given how delicate the material is. There is swelling at the back of the hooks and eyes, “among other cases of damage.

Amanda Joyner, Ripley’s vice president of publishing and licensing, was with Kim on the night of the Met Gala and said:

From the bottom of Met’s steps, where Kim got into the dress, to the top, where she was returned, the dress was in the same condition it started.

Roommates, what do you think about that?
