On May 16, National Statistics Office (ONS) in the UK, it has published its latest data on deaths by vaccination status, including deaths from COVID-19 deaths and non-COVID-19 deaths. These deaths occurred between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2022 in England.
For this analysis, ONS defined death as or COVID-19 virus detected (code U07.1) or COVID-19 virus not identified (code U07.2) is indicated in the death certificate.
“Contrary to the definition used in published weekly deaths, deaths in which the post-COVID condition, where the acute COVID ended before the condition that immediately caused the death, are mentioned in the death certificate and neither of the other two COVIDs The 19 mentioned codes are not included as they are likely to be the result of an infection caught a long time ago and are therefore not related to the vaccination status of the person at the date of death. “Deaths involving multisystemic inflammatory syndrome associated with COVID-19, which mentions neither COVID-19, identified virus, nor COVID-19, unidentified virus, are also excluded,” the NSO explained.
Vaccination status is categorized based on the following:
- vaccinated with only the first dose less than 21 days after the first vaccination
- vaccinated with only the first dose, at least 21 days after the first vaccination
- vaccinated with the first and second doses less than 21 days after the second vaccination
- vaccinated with the first and second doses, at least 21 days, but less than 6 months after the second vaccination
- vaccinated with the first and second doses, at least 6 months after the second vaccination
- vaccinated with first, second and third dose and / or booster less than 21 days after third or booster vaccination
- vaccinated with the first, second and third dose and / or booster, at least 21 days after the third or booster vaccine
The NSO also includes the category “Once vaccinated” (total vaccinated population), which includes anyone who has had at least 1 dose of the vaccine, regardless of the additional doses.
“Spring amplifiers are not distinguished in this analysis,” the NGO said.
Table 3 of the analysis: Age-standardized mortality rates for the entire vaccination status for deaths from all causes, deaths involving COVID-19 and deaths not including COVID-19 per 100,000 man-years, England, deaths occurring between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022
In this table total 107,035 deaths are recorded by NSOs including COVID-19, identified virus and COVID-19, the virus has not been identified in the “unvaccinated” group between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2022 in England.
For the “vaccinated” in general 463,837 deaths are recorded by “Aall causes of death‘
The table below refers to COVID-19-related deaths. Of the 463,837 deaths in the “vaccinated” group alone 31,425 th most common died with / from COVID-19. And only 37,961 unvaccinated died of COVID-19 between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2022.
The table below refers to non-COVID-19-related deaths. Of the 463,837 deaths in the “vaccinated” group, a huge one 432 412 died without COVID-19. The NSO did not mention what was involved in deaths outside of COVID-19. With the huge number, TGP has been suggested to include side effects from COVID-19 vaccines.
Table 7 of the data set contains figures of “The whole period reports all registered deaths by vaccination status by age groups; for all deaths and deaths related to COVID-19, deaths between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2022, England
