  • Recent updates have pushed the total number of Covids in the country to 4,333,645 cases, 5,249,903 deaths and 81,687 active cases, according to data released at 8am.
  • The number of active cases rose from 2,374 on Tuesday to 81,687 and now represents 0.19% of total infections, the ministry said.
  • The recovery rate from Covid-19 in India was recorded at 98.60 percent, as the number of people recovering from the disease increased to 4,27,25,055. Mortality was registered at 1.21%.

It is worth noting that India on Tuesday, June 21, saw a decline in Covid-19 cases, with the country reporting 9,923 cases, according to official figures.
