Chanelle Avaricio did enough in the final round on Friday, returning par 72 to win the P750,000 ICTSI Pradera Verde Ladies Classic with six shots and finishing one of the most dominant performances on the tour recently.
Avaricio drained three birds for the same number of waves for 211 with 54 holes, with Chihiro Ikeda and Sarah Abeba checking in second after closing with 74 and 73, respectively.
“My first round was the key one, it kind of pushed me,” said Avaricio, who took control with a Tour 64 record on Wednesday and then remained in command despite 75 in the second round.
Ikeda reached two with a bird of no. 7, before the eventual champion bounces, choosing a shot at №. 8 to sit on another four-pillow cushion on the turn after Ikeda pulled out the ninth.
It was a cruise control for the Alabama alumni from the back of the state university, before the Ikeda cart of Nos. 13 and 15 gave Abeba the beginning to claim a draw for second place.
