The spectacular and colorfully dressed coach will receive his sixth Virgilio “Baby” Dalupan trophy during the traditional awards night, which takes place on Tuesday at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center.
The 58-year-old Reyes is ahead of his Barangai counterpart Ginebra Tim Coon for the coveted award after his successful return to coaching in the first league of its kind in Asia, which is playing for pay after almost a decade of absence.
He won the Reyes Award the most, but this will be his first since 2011.
