Captain America star Chris Evans explains the Avengers line.

Chris Evans recently reflected on his latest appearance as Captain America at MCU The Avengers: End of the gamereflecting the shooting of Cap’s most iconic replica.

“The Avengers are assembling!” is the battle cry of the most powerful heroes on Earth since their inception. When the main team of Marvel superheroes first made their way to the big screen in 2012 The Avengers, many fans were hoping to hear Captain America of Chris Evans give the iconic call to action. However, they will have to wait until the final appearance of the hero in 2019 The Avengers: End of the game to hear the remark finally uttered.

Some fans asked Chris Evans about the delivery of the line. The climax of the film sees Captain America shouting “The Avengers!” and then, as the camera moves dramatically, he almost whispers “Assemble.” While some doubted why Cap would say the word too softly to hear the assembled mass of characters, Evans revealed that there was good reason to convey the line in this way.

As he spoke to MTV News to promote his new film, Light year, Chris Evans was inevitably asked about his tenure at MCU and how to present Captain America’s iconic “Avengers Gather”! line. Evans revealed that he would have originally called for a reply in the first double, but at the moment the lower delivery felt more powerful:

“It simply came to our notice then. And I was going to call the first shot, and then I just felt like I knew what the camera was doing, and you know people are waiting for it. And it almost felt like a nice comparison to go under it and then make everyone around me scream. And we tried that first double, and then Rousseau just said, “That’s it, don’t even make the screamer.” And I don’t really know if we’ve ever tried it. I mean, I had obviously tried it at home the night before!

“And it could work again. But I like the fact that you almost have to bend down to get it … And I really like that when I say it, [Thor actor, Chris] Hemsworth just makes this primary roar. It would be weird if I was screaming and everyone was screaming. It almost felt better to be steel. ”

Chris Evans makes a great point. After Cap quietly uttered the word “gather” before the characters around him shouted their own battle cries and attacked Thanos’s forces, he gave more strength now than if there had been one shout among many. Evans also admitted that he was more frightened than another emblematic remark Light year – Buzz Lighty’s favorite “To infinity and beyond!” The actor explained that “At least with the Avengers, collect” no one has done it before. With this one, you know that someone else has put their stamp on it. ”

Chris Evans can be heard as the voice of Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear Light year. Here is the synopsis:
