Apple retailers are voting to syndicate a store in Maryland

Workers at the Apple Towson Town Center store in Maryland voted in favor of the union with 65 “yes” and 33 “no”. About 110 officials were eligible to vote in the election.

The store is Apple’s first retail location in the United States, where union elections are being held, after organizers in Atlanta withdrew their petition for a union votewhich was to take place in early May.

The organization at the Towson store was done by a group of employees called AppleCORE (an acronym for Coalition of Organized Retail Employees). Apple does not welcome the numerous union campaigns in its open arms stores.
