8,000 golf balls stolen from a golf course in Somerset County

PITTSBURG (KDKA) – An investigation is under way after 8,000 golf balls were stolen from a golf course in Somerset County.

State police said soldiers responded on June 4 at the Oakbrook Golf Course in Jenner to report stolen golf balls. The owner of the course told police that 8,000 golf balls were stolen from the sports field last month.

Police said the stolen balls were of various brands, but “most” of them were yellow Mizuno balls labeled “PRACTICE”.
